Every route has its regulars — and on this one, 47 of them have four legs. Our '47 Dogs' design celebrates the mail carriers, postal workers, and mailmen who know every bark on the block by name: 46 love them, and one is plotting. This funny mailman shirt is a love letter to the unofficial part of the job description — professional dog greeter.
If you're hunting for mail carrier gifts with real personality, this mail carrier t-shirt delivers where generic gifts don't. It's a favorite pick for postal worker gifts at Christmas, birthdays, retirements, and National Thank a Mail Carrier Day — the kind of mailman gift that gets a genuine laugh instead of a polite smile. Dog-loving carriers, rural route veterans, and city walkers all see themselves in the artwork: a cheerful carrier on the porch surrounded by an adoring (and one suspicious) four-legged welcoming committee.
The design stacks 'MY ROUTE HAS 47 DOGS' over the punchline '46 LOVE ME. ONE IS PLOTTING.' in bold collegiate cream-and-gold lettering on deep navy, framing a warm, detailed illustration of the daily porch greeting every carrier knows by heart. The print is rich and saturated, built to survive countless wash cycles without cracking or fading, so the joke stays as fresh as the day it arrived. Big, confident, readable from across the street — because the dogs already know, and now everyone else will too.
Printed on the Comfort Colors 1717 garment-dyed tee — soft, breathable 100% ringspun cotton with a relaxed fit and that perfectly worn-in vintage feel carriers live in. The garment-dyed fabric means no two shirts are exactly alike, each with its own subtle character, and the durable construction — reinforced shoulders, ribbed collar that keeps its shape — is made for people who lift, carry, and hustle all day, with or without a treat pouch.
A perfect gift for mailman appreciation, a Christmas gift for your mail carrier, or a just-because surprise for the postal worker whose route doubles as a dog parade. Pair it with our matching mail carrier shirts and postal worker apparel for the complete collection look — 46 out of 47 dogs approve.
